Automatic verification
With PiFact, invoices are automatically sent to Verifactu when they are confirmed.
To confirm an invoice, you can do it one by one in the context menu of each invoice, or you can do it in bulk by selecting the invoices to confirm and using the "Confirm invoices" option.
From that moment on, the invoice is sent to Verifactu in a matter of seconds and can no longer be modified.

No Verifactu
If you have chosen the No Verifactu option for your company, it works the same way. The only difference is that instead of being sent to the Spanish Tax Agency (AEAT), a signed invoice record is created with the supplied certificate, and this record cannot be modified.
AEAT requirements
The system can automatically and easily send billing records to the Spanish Tax Agency (AEAT). Simply enter the request code provided by the AEAT and specify the dates to include in the submission. Once submitted, you will receive confirmation from the AEAT with the corresponding CSV code, and the records will be stored in the "Requests" section.
Certificates
To issue invoices, you need a certificate. This certificate can be the company administrator's certificate or another certificate valid for submissions to the Spanish Tax Agency (AEAT). If the certificate is invalid, the AEAT will reject the submissions. The certificate format must be PFX or P12; you can obtain it in this format by exporting the certificate installed on your computer.
Start
The Verifactu system is scheduled to launch on January 1, 2027 for companies and on July 1, 2027 for the self-employed.
Until this date, invoices are sent to the AEAT's test system, which has no legal validity.
